Fairplay Train Station at Delaware Park
The Fairplay Train Station, also known as Churchman’s Crossing Station, is a rail and bus complex located on the grounds of Delaware Park. It is operated by SEPTA and DART, offering convenient transportation options for visitors.
Train Service
To visit Delaware Park by train, the station is serviced by the R2 SEPTA line, which operates between Newark and Elm Street, Norristown, PA, five days a week (Monday through Friday).
- Schedule:
- Newark to Norristown: 10 trains operate daily from 6:28 AM to 7:21 PM.
- Norristown to Newark: 9 trains operate daily from 6:17 AM to 6:47 PM.
- Each train makes 22 intermediate stops, including North Broad Street, 30th Street (Philadelphia), Darby, Chester, Claymont, and Wilmington.
Getting to Delaware Park Racetrack/Casino from the Train Station:

Shuttle Bus:
- Visit the SEPTA booth near the station stairs between 6:15 AM and 7:30 PM.
- A Security Officer on duty will call Valet Parking at Delaware Park to dispatch a shuttle.

Route 5 Bus:
- Patrons can wait for selected Route 5 buses (with a toll) to take them directly to Delaware Park.
Connections:
- Other commuter and rail trains operating in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware can be accessed via Wilmington Station or 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.
Note: No trains operate to Delaware Park on Saturdays or Sundays.

Bus Service
To visit Delaware Park Racetrack and Casino by bus, the primary option is the Number 5 Bus, which runs on a regular schedule.
- Route: From Wilmington (Rodney Square) to Christiana Mall via Maryland Avenue (Route 4).
- Stops: The bus uses Delaware Park Boulevard and stops directly outside the Casino/Clubhouse.
- Schedule: Operates six days a week (Monday to Saturday); does not run on Sundays.
- Fairplay Station: During selected morning and evening hours, the bus also stops at Fairplay Station.
