With more than two decades as a PGA Professional, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to his role at White Clay Creek Country Club. His career has been defined by a commitment to excellence, from mentoring golfers of all skill levels to overseeing high-profile tournaments and facility operations.
Ryan’s long-standing affiliation with the Professional Golfers’ Association reflects his dedication to the sport and his continuous pursuit of professional growth. His expertise, combined with his ability to foster a welcoming and engaging environment, has made him an invaluable asset to the club and the broader golfing community.
Before joining White Clay Creek, Ryan built an impressive 15-year career at the prestigious Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida. There, he was instrumental in achieving numerous accolades, including the resort’s Top 100 Golf Pro Shop in America designation for an extraordinary 10 consecutive years. His leadership also contributed to awards such as Merchandiser of the Year and the Gold Medal Award.
Ryan’s expertise extends to event coordination at the highest level. During his time at Grand Cypress, he successfully organized notable PGA and LPGA events, including the Chrysler Plymouth Tournament of Champions, The Healthsouth Classic, and the 1990 World Cup of Golf.

Meet Luke Neubauer: Head Golf Professional and PGA Member
A proud Delaware native, Luke Neubauer has been passionate about golf since the age of eight. Introduced to the game by his father, Luke developed his skills through competitive high school and college golf, paving the way for a successful career in the golf industry.
Luke joined White Clay Creek Country Club in 2013 as an Assistant Golf Professional. After nearly a decade of dedication and exceptional service, he was promoted to Head Golf Professional in July 2022. Adding to his impressive credentials, Luke holds the prestigious status of PGA Professional, reflecting his deep expertise and commitment to the game.
With a deep love for the game and a commitment to providing exceptional service, Luke brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the club, ensuring that every golfer enjoys a memorable and rewarding experience at White Clay Creek.
Meet Greg Kennedy: Assistant Golf Professional
Greg Kennedy, a dedicated and passionate golfer, was introduced to the game by his late father, sparking a lifelong love for the sport. After playing competitively in high school and college, Greg faced a life-altering accident that left him with several broken vertebrae. Despite stepping away from golf for a time, his passion for the game only grew stronger, inspiring him to return and dedicate himself to teaching and coaching.
Before joining White Clay Creek Country Club, Greg served as the Director of Instruction at Patriot Glen Golf Course in Elkton, Maryland, where he honed his skills as a coach and mentor to golfers of all levels.
Currently, Greg holds the title of PGA Associate and is enrolled in the prestigious PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program, working toward earning his full PGA Membership. His dedication to the game is matched by his commitment to helping others improve their skills and enjoy the sport he loves.
Greg’s enthusiasm for teaching, coaching, and growing the game of golf is evident in everything he does, making him an integral part of the White Clay Creek team.
Meet Josh: Superintendent of White Clay Creek Country Club
Since January 2019, Josh has served as the Superintendent of White Clay Creek Country Club, overseeing all aspects of course and grounds maintenance to ensure a world-class golfing experience. With over 15 years of experience managing golf courses in the Mid-Atlantic region, Josh brings an exceptional blend of expertise, leadership, and passion to his role.
Before joining White Clay Creek, Josh held key positions in the industry, including Assistant Superintendent at Bidermann Golf Course and Championship Course Superintendent at Trump National Golf Club Washington DC, where he prepared the course for marquee events like the 2013 Junior PGA Championship and the 2017 Senior PGA Championship.
A graduate of both Penn State University and the University of Maryland, Josh combines a robust academic background with hands-on experience. His commitment to excellence ensures that White Clay Creek Country Club remains one of Delaware’s premier golf destinations.
Meet Steven: Food and Beverage Director at White Clay Creek Country Club
Steven brings decades of expertise to his role as Food and Beverage Director at White Clay Creek Country Club, where he oversees exceptional dining experiences and seamless event execution.
Steven began his hospitality career in 1992 at the prestigious Hotel Du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware. Over the years, he has developed a comprehensive skill set, including food preparation, presentation, event management, event design, sales and marketing, and more. His career includes key roles at top-tier establishments such as the Crowne Plaza in Northeast Philadelphia, Holiday Inn Select in Claymont, Delaware, and the DoubleTree Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware. Most recently, Steven served as Banquet Manager at Delaware Park Racetrack & Casino, where he mastered the art of orchestrating large-scale events and creating unforgettable experiences.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steven enjoys a full life with his wife, Patricia, of 30 years, their four children, and five grandchildren. In his free time, he loves traveling, cooking, graphic design, and embracing life’s joys.

Crystal’s culinary journey began at Hollywood Casino in Perryville, Maryland, where she worked her way up from line cook to Executive Chef, showcasing her talent, determination, and ability to excel in high-pressure environments. Her experience and vision continue to shape the vibrant, innovative menus that guests at White Clay Creek have come to love.

Cheyenne, our 7-year-old Border Collie, is an indispensable part of the White Clay Creek Country Club team. As both our mascot and a hardworking employee, she helps keep our fairways and greens in excellent condition by managing migratory birds that can cause damage to the grounds.
Her dedication and natural instincts ensure that our course remains a pristine and enjoyable space for golfers and guests. Whether patrolling the greens or relaxing nearby, Cheyenne is a true testament to the care and commitment that make White Clay Creek so special.
